Porcelain Crowns & Bridges
in Chicago and Orland Park
Crowns are a cosmetic restoration used to strengthen a tooth or improve its shape should it be broken, worn or partially destroyed by tooth decay.
Our crowns are aesthetic, strong and durable and, in most cases, they are made entirely out of porcelain for superior aesthetics and biocompatibility.
Highly trained Prosthodontists (specialists in aesthetic restoration and replacement of teeth), Dr. Agarwal and Dr. Ashtewi, have years of experience in providing porcelain crowns that match the shape, size, and color of your teeth for a natural-looking and long-lasting beautiful smile.
When preparing for your porcelain crown, we use a digital scanner for greater accuracy, efficiency and comfort. This scanner has a shade-matching tool to ensure a good color match of the crown with your other teeth.
Then, we make your crown right here in our in-house, high-quality lab so that it fits precisely and results in a comfortable bite. We make final adjustments to the crown until you are completely satisfied with both the way it looks and feels in your mouth.

Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth and literally bridge the gap between two teeth. They can be removable or fixed, in which case, they are cemented to the adjacent teeth. In some cases, bridges are an ideal solution for replacing missing teeth. While they do not provide permanent fusion to your jawbone, as with implants, they are economical and do not need to be removed and cleaned like dentures.
Procedure for Getting a Bridge
Bridges are usually made of porcelain or porcelain fused to metal. The process of getting a bridge usually involves a few office visits. On the first, the adjacent teeth are prepared and impressions are made of your teeth. We then make your bridge in our high-tech, in-house dental lab. At the next appointment, your bridge will be placed and cemented permanently once the fit and necessary adjustments are made.
Bridges are a solution to replace missing teeth so that your other teeth do not shift or cause you chewing problems. A bridge can last for many years and can be easily cared for with brushing and flossing like real teeth.
Advantages of Porcelain Bridges
- Look, feel and function like natural teeth
- Prevent further movement of adjacent teeth next to the missing teeth
- Do not have the gray, metallic line at the gumline that you see with metal bridges
- Last many years, as long as you take proper care of your teeth
